Antonio Cupo (born January 10, 1978) is a Canadian actor.
==Biography==
Born in Vancouver on January 10, 1978 into a family of Italian immigrants arrived in Canada in 1968, Antonio Cupo is the youngest of three children. His father Manlio is from Palomonte, a small town in the province of Salerno, south-western Italy and his mother Lucia from Barletta, in the recent Province of Barletta-Andria-Trani. His siblings are Sabato and Carmelina. He graduated in English Literature at the University of British Columbia.
From the age of six to sixteen he had performed in many theatrical production both scholastically and regionally. He also worked in television and films. He was also the lead singer of the band Hybrid Cartel.
His first starring role was under the direction of Fabio Segatori in film ''Hollywood Flies''. His other films shot in the United States includes ''The Lizzie McGuire Movie'', directed by Jim Fall; ''Taken'', produced by Steven Spielberg; ''The L Word'' etc.
In Italy he is known for his role as the male lead in the second season of ''Elisa di Rivombrosa''. Later, he starred, among others, in the film, directed by Renzo Martinelli, Carnera - The Walking Mountain, where he played the role of boxer Max Baer, the sitcom My Doctors and movies Barbarossa, directed by Renzo Martinelli, and Smile, directed by Francis Gasperoni, both in theaters in 2009.
Between 2009 and 2010 is the protagonist, along with Roberta Lanfranchi, the musical Cinderella, directed by Massimo Romeo Piparo.
In 2007, Antonio Cupo starred in a lifetime film titled ''Love Notes'' alongside Laura Leighton.
In 2012, Antonio Cupo starred in a Hallmark Original Movie titled ''Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade'' alongside Autumn Reeser.
In 2013, Antonio Cupo starred in the Hallmark Original Movie titled "Hats Off to Christmas!"
In 2014, Antonio Cupo starred in the Hallmark Original Movie titled "For Better or For Worse" alongside Lisa Whelchel.
